CCM BUMIPUTERA VENDOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (CCM BVDP)
CCM BVDP was established in 2007 to focus on assisting and supporting the Government's efforts to create Bumiputera Commercial and Industrial Community under the Majlis Ekonomi Bumiputera ("MEB").
On 19 August 2014, CCM being 1 out of 10 anchor companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) on a Vendor Development Program (VDP) to affirm our commitment in helping the Government to develop Bumiputera vendor companies.
The VDP aims to create genuine Bumiputera entrepreneurs who are reliable and competitive, produce local products and services to replace imported ones that are currently used by CCM and encourage research and development (R&D) for products and services.
As a key player in the pharmaceuticals, chemicals and polymer industries, the VDP is a sound business commitment that is in line with our vision in "Enhancing Quality of Life" by supporting local businesses albeit strengthening and expand our business to contribute to the economic growth of the communities that we operate in.
